Barista – Columbus Café

Location: Erin Mills Town Centre, Mississauga, ON

Availability Required: Must be available any day of the week, between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Columbus Café is looking for a mature, dependable Barista to join our team. We value experience, but personality, reliability, and a strong work ethic matter just as much. Candidates with the right mindset and full availability will be considered for training, even without a formal barista background.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks to standard
- Maintain consistency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and drink quality
- Deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume setting
- Operate POS system, manage orders, and handle transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar area

What We're Looking For:

- A mature, professional attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
- Skilled,



friendly demeanour with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working under pressure during peak hours
- Full commitment to the required availability
- Previous barista experience in a café or coffee shop is a strong asset, but candidates without direct experience who demonstrate the right personality and commitment will be considered for training

Additional Notes:

- Experienced candidates can expect to step in with minimal ramp-up time
- Candidates without direct barista experience should bring a strong work ethic and genuine interest in the craft, we're willing to invest in the right person
- Comfortable using POS systems, or willing to learn
