Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various alarm systems including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV). This role requires proficiency with power tools and a solid understanding of electrical principles.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems including IDS and CCTV.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation.
- Utilize power tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of alarm systems to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Telecommunicate with team members to coordinate installations and service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during installations or repairs.




- Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in alarm technology.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build and install low voltage systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints related to alarm systems.
- Familiarity with IDS, CCTV, and other security technologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
