Overview
As a Cabin Cleaner at Idylwylde Cabins in Clear Lake, you’ll be a key part of the guest experience by ensuring each cabin is spotless, well-stocked, and ready for incoming visitors. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction and repeat business. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires reliability—especially on weekends when turnover volume is highest.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of cabins after guest check-out (dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen areas, etc.).
- Restock linens, toiletries, and other guest supplies to standard.
- Inspect cabins for damage or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Remove and dispose of trash and recyclables according to property procedures.
- Ensure cabins meet cleanliness and presentation standards before guest arrival.
- Assist with light exterior tidying (e.g., sweeping entryways, checking porches) as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team about turnover status, supply needs, or unusual findings.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols consistently.

Requirements

- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high standards.




- Ability to work independently, manage time, and handle multiple cabins during busy periods.
- Physical stamina to lift/move linens, garbage bins, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Reliable availability, with emphasis on weekend shifts—dependability is critical.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather (for light exterior tasks) and adapting to changing turnover schedules.
- No experience needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
