We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable, and supporting overall corporate finance operations. This role is perfect for individuals looking to grow their accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support payroll processing by verifying employee hours and assisting with related inquiries.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to support corporate finance initiatives and audits.
- Prepare journal entries under supervision.
- Process biweekly payroll with accuracy and compliance.
- Help with audits,



GST tax returns, and budgeting processes.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2 years of accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
- Experience as an accounting clerk or similar role is a plus.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
