Homecare Nurse (Pitt Meadows, BC) - DO YOU LIVE NEAR PITT MEADOWS?

We are seeking 1-2 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide custom Nursing care for a single client - daily for two hours. This role offers an opportunity for a local Nurse to deliver personalized patient care in a homecare setting, working with an award-winning organization that puts people first.

The ideal LPN candidate will be seeking 6-10 hours per week of ongoing short visits, and must be able to work 930 - 1130 am on at least 3 days every week, on an ongoing basis. This shift time is not versatile.

At Nurse Next Door our Licensed Practical Nurses, (LPN's) provide all aspects of homecare to help seniors stay home as long as possible. We call it Happier Aging. Duties:

· Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer

· Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendations

· Function within the limits of your scope of practice, experience and knowledge,



while practicing safely and competently within the job description

· Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

· Will work Monday - Thursday 930 - 1130 am, in Pitt Meadows, every week on an ongoing basis; additional shifts may be offered if available

. Current BC LPN license from BCCNM, RN's will also be welcomed

· Double COVID Vaccination required

· TB test within past 2 years

. Criminal Record Check

· Current First Aid and CPR certificate

· Excellent written and verbal skills in English

· Technically savvy with mobile apps and G-suite

· Previous home care nursing experience is an asset.
