About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Physiotherapist who is enthusiastic about patient care, professional development, and building a successful long-term practice.

You do not need to arrive with an established patient base or years of clinical experience.

We are more interested in finding someone who communicates well, provides thoughtful patient-centered care, enjoys learning, works collaboratively, and is motivated to develop both their clinical skills and their practice.

The successful practitioner will operate as an independent contractor while benefiting from Evolve's established administrative systems, clinic operations, marketing, and multidisciplinary environment.

For a newer Physiotherapist, this is an opportunity to develop your own skilled identity and approach to practice within an established clinic organization rather than having to create every aspect of a practice from the ground up.

Responsibilities

You will:

- Conduct comprehensive patient histories,



physical examinations, and functional assessments
- Develop individualized, evidence-informed physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Provide appropriate manual therapy and therapeutic interventions within your professional scope
- Develop and progress individualized therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation programs
- Educate patients regarding movement, recovery, injury prevention, ergonomics, and self-management strategies
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Build strong, professional therapeutic relationships with patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners when appropriate
- Develop your patient base and professional referral network
- Maintain required professional registration, liability insurance, competencies, and continuing education
- Practise in accordance with applicable Alberta professional standards and requirements
- Continue developing your clinical and professional skills
- Actively participate in building and growing your physiotherapy practice

Required Qualifications

- Degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy from a recognized institution
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta, or eligible for registration to practise physiotherapy in Alberta
- Required professional liability insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, evidence-informed care
- Professional, reliable, and motivated
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Willingness to continue developing clinical and professional skills
- Willingness to actively develop and grow a patient practice

New graduates and early-career Physiotherapists are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications and Clinical Interests

The following are considered assets but are not required:

- Interest in orthopedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Interest in treating sports-related and activity-related injuries
- Interest in working with active individuals or athletic populations
- Interest in manual therapy
- Interest in active rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, and progressive exercise prescription
- Training or interest in dry needling
- Interest in soft-tissue techniques or complementary manual therapy approaches
- Interest in post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation
- Interest in treating both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
- Interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary patient management
- Previous clinical placement experience in private practice, orthopedic, rehabilitation, or sports-medicine settings
- Previous experience in fitness, kinesiology, personal training, athletics, or rehabilitation




- Strong interest in developing a long-term patient practice
- Interest in becoming established within the West Springs community

Applicants are not expected to have experience or additional training in every area listed above.

We recognize that new graduates are still developing their areas of clinical interest, and we welcome applicants who are enthusiastic about learning and expanding their skills.

Independent Contractor Structure

This is an independent-contractor opportunity.

Practitioners maintain professional autonomy over their clinical practice while operating within Evolve Chiropractic & Wellness.

Compensation is based on a competitive percentage-based structure.

Evolve provides the clinic environment, administrative infrastructure, front-desk support, established systems, and marketing support, allowing practitioners to spend more of their time focused on patient care and practice development.

Location and Schedule

The new clinic is located in West Springs in southwest Calgary.

The clinic will operate Monday through Saturday.

Practitioner schedules are flexible and will be established collaboratively between Evolve and the successful practitioner based on practitioner availability, patient demand, and clinic needs.

Both substantial part-time and full-time practice schedules may be considered.
