Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, full-time Production Worker - Tube Cutting to join our manufacturing team. This position is scheduled for day shifts, Monday-Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The successful candidate will operate tube cutting equipment to prepare tubing for the next stages of our production process. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow production instructions to ensure tubing is cut to the correct specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate tube cutting equipment according to work instructions and established procedures.
- Set up and load tubing into cutting equipment as instructed.
- Cut tubing to the required lengths and specifications.
- Use handheld cutting equipment when required for production.
- Visually inspect cut tubing for proper length, clean cuts, and other quality requirements.
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and cut lengths.
- Keep tubing and completed parts properly organized and identified to prevent part mix-ups.
- Identify and report incorrect material, measurements, equipment issues, or other production concerns.
- Follow all machine operating and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete production records and other basic documentation as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Cross-train in other production areas and assist with manufacturing tasks as needed.

Note: This role does not require heavy lifting (all items are under 20 lbs).

- Experience operating machinery or production equipment.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, or tape measures.
- Experience working with metal tubing or automotive components.
- Experience following work orders or production instructions.
- Familiarity with quality control or inspection procedures.

Training & Work Environment

We provide comprehensive, hands-on training for the tube cutting process, including equipment operation, part identification, measuring procedures, safety requirements, and quality inspection.

You will learn how to identify the correct tubing and part number, properly operate the cutting equipment, verify measurements, inspect finished cuts, and recognize common production issues.

No previous manufacturing experience is required. We're looking for dependable people who are comfortable working with their hands, pay attention to detail, take pride in producing quality products, and are eager to learn.

Pay

$20.00–$23.00/hour, based on experience.
