What we’re looking for:

Are you passionate about leading automotive service operations with energy and expertise? We’re seeking a dynamic Service Manager to oversee daily dealership service activities, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and drive profitable growth. In this role, you’ll coordinate a team of skilled technicians and service advisors, manage repair processes, and uphold the highest standards of care. Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operate the service department to produce reasonable profit and return on investment.
- In conjunction with the Shop Controller, review and analyze technician’s productivity records (organize, direct, and control the RV technicians). Improve efficiency of technicians,



planning all work.
- Make sure that all necessary information pertaining to warranty and policy claims is obtained and recorded on the repair order.
- Review and analyze production reports of the service department and correct efficiency problems.
- Monitor the production and paperwork flow of the department on a daily basis.
- Pre-plan the next day’s work for the technicians with the Shop Controller
- Return all unsatisfactory work back to the technician who performed the work and provide a detailed explanation and corrective action of the issue.
- Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Ensure your key personnel, and the dealers are kept aware and updated about progress towards achievement of these goals.
- Ensure that all disputed or rejected claims or bills are resolved through follow up with appropriate claims personnel. Apprise the dealer of potentially expensive claims/ bills which may be rejected prior to rejection notice.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of expenses in your department. Develop effective expense control programs.
- Ensure proper expedient handling of all stakeholders, including customers and technicians, ensuring their concerns and problems are handled to a satisfactory conclusion.




- Monitor customer satisfaction and participate in addressing customers identified as unsatisfied through the customer feedback program. Follow customer issue to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Handle difficult customer complaints.
- Be actively involved in all hiring & interview processes to obtain potential new techs & service support personnel.
- Develop and maintain high morale in the personnel.

Core Competencies and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in RV service or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Robust understanding of RV systems and components, diagnostic and repair techniques, and service software.
- Accurate knowledge of profits & productivity requirements/goals.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer-centric approach to resolving service-related challenges.
- Accurate knowledge of profits & productivity requirements/goals
- Solid knowledge of workplace safety practices related to the RV industry.
- Valid drivers license.
