Perpetual Health Centre is expanding and seeking compassionate, experienced healthcare professionals to join our community-based primary care clinic in Victoria, British Columbia.

We are building a collaborative, team-based practice where family physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and administrative staff work together to provide accessible, comprehensive and continuous care.

Our model allows each professional to work to their full scope of practice. Clinical responsibilities are shared appropriately, communication is encouraged, and patients benefit from coordinated care delivered by a consistent team.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

Perpetual Health Centre provides longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population. Our services include:

- Preventive and routine primary care
- Chronic disease management
- Women’s and men’s health
- Pediatric and older-adult care
- Mental health support
- Medication monitoring and review
- Post-hospital and transitional care
- Minor procedures and injections
- In-person and virtual appointments
- Coordination with specialists and community services

The clinic is led by a UK- and Canadian-trained family physician with more than 20 years of clinical experience. We value continuity, clinical excellence, cultural sensitivity, skilled independence, and respectful teamwork.

OUR TEAM-BASED CARE MODEL

The Family Physician will manage their own patient panels while collaborating on complex clinical needs, continuity of care and practice improvement.

The Registered Nurse will play an important role in supporting preventive care, patient education, chronic disease monitoring, clinical follow-up and care coordination.

Our Medical Office Assistants provide administrative support, including appointment scheduling, referrals, document management, and assistance with practice operations.

This structure is intended to reduce unnecessary administrative pressure on clinicians and allow every team member to concentrate on meaningful patient care.

FAMILY PHYSICIAN





We welcome full-time or part-time family physicians interested in establishing or transferring a longitudinal patient panel.

The position may be structured under the Longitudinal Family Physician payment model or another eligible provincial payment model. Flexible scheduling and a combination of in-person and virtual care may be considered.

Eligible UK-, US-, Irish, Australian, and other internationally trained family physicians are encouraged to inquire. Physicians who are currently navigating the British Columbia licensing or relocation process are also welcome to contact us.

Applicants must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and must maintain appropriate CMPA coverage.

INTERNATIONALLY TRAINED PHYSICIANS

Perpetual Health Centre warmly welcomes inquiries from qualified internationally trained family physicians.

Recent changes to British Columbia’s licensing pathways may allow eligible physicians trained in the United Kingdom, United States, Ireland, and Australia to apply for full-family licensure.





As the clinic is led by a UK-trained family physician, we understand many of the practical and professional considerations involved in transitioning to medical practice in Canada. Successful candidates will be supported with orientation to the clinic, Med Access EMR, provincial billing systems and the development of a longitudinal patient panel.

Licensing eligibility is determined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Candidates requiring immigration or work-permit support may make a confidential inquiry, and available options can be discussed individually.

The start date is flexible and negotiable.

Full-time, part-time, and flexible schedules will be considered.
