ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN/CLERK

We are a local accounting firm, in business for over 40 years, seeking an enthusiastic, energetic individual with the right combination of education and experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive, proficient in various accounting and word processing software packages, able to work diligently, with minimal supervision to meet recurring deadlines on a weekly monthly and annual basis.

· Post Secondary education in accounting/bookkeeping (or equivalent experience), being well versed in all bookkeeping functions, with emphasis on bank reconciliations, A/R, A/P, G/L, payroll, and having at least a basic knowledge of accounting functions. Experience in a public accounting/bookkeeping firm while not required, would be an asset.

· Ability to perform data entry, account reconciliations, payroll and word processing at a high level, using Sage 50 and MS Office.

· Good communication skills, with an ability to interact directly and confidently, with clients on a regular basis.





· summarizing and compiling information for monthly, quarterly and annual HST Reports

· general office duties such as reception and filing as required.

This is a full-time position beginning in September 2026. Specific, on the job training, will be provided. Salary will be negotiated and very competitive with similar positions. (Please note this is a technician/clerk position only).
