Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Indian Cook to join our culinary team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will bring passion for authentic Indian cuisine, excellent food preparation skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked properly, maintaining high standards of taste and presentation
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications





- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of North/ South Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques
- Experience with meal preparation and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred and enthusiasm for learning is valued
- Food industry certifications or training related to food safety are a plus
