Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Tower Operator, where you will be responsible for the scheduling and dispatch work orders to the shop. The tower operator ensures a proper flow of work to the Automotive technicians, as well as ensure that the work gets prioritized based on the notes left by the service advisors. The role includes providing support in a fast paced, high volume automotive mechanical shop.

Duties

- Schedule and dispatch work orders to automotive technicians
- Be the liaison between the mechanical shop and the service advisors
- Update the service advisors on status of jobs in order to assist them in keeping their guests updated
- Review work orders awaiting parts on a daily basis to ensure appointments are booked as soon as parts come in
- Work directly with the service manager to resolve any conflict and establish priorities in situations of ambiguity.
- Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as required

Skills





- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working in an automotive mechanical shop
- Bilingual (fluent in English and French - written and oral) an asset
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Very organized, with excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
