About us

At COBS Bread we bake fresh from scratch everyday.

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will:

- Work as part of a small team to bake early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
- Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, moulding and shaping dough, and processing everything through the ovens
- Willing to work weekends is a Must
- Be an Early Riser
- Previous experience as a commercial baker or back of the house in a restaurant is an advantage.
- Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a outstanding customer experience.

- Demonstrated commitment to the bakery's success, and to your own development
- A willingness to work early hours starting at 3am
- Must have access to own vehicle as there is no reliable public transit in this area Physical Requirement.
- Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
- Frequent turning and reaching
- Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
- Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 metres
- Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping




- The successful candidate must be legally able to work in Canada with no limitation on hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 39 per week

- Waterdown, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- working as a Baker or Cook/Food Prep/Fast food: 1 year (required)
