Job Title: Solder Assembler

Job Function

In this role you will:

- Assist in the manufacture electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with specifications and tolerances
- Build products to specifications
- Solder (SMT) surface mount electronics components (There will be a test during the interview)
- Sew and glue materials to specifications
- Use comprehensive build instructions to manufacture products

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field
- Completion of a post-secondary program in a related discipline preferred
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and responsibility in a team environment




- Knowledge of electronics preferred
- Solid communications and interpersonal skills, proficiency in both written and oral English is an absolute essential requirement.
- Strong soldering and rework skills
- IPC A 610 and JSTD certification an asset
- Familiarity with ISO, FDA, or six-sigma an asset
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally permitted to work in Canada
- Sewing experience

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person

Pay: $22.00 per hour
