Commercial Maintenance Technician, Year Round Position on mostly Indoor Swimming Pools.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery in the field
- Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Assist with the installation and repair of machinery and electronic equipment and plumbing
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Track all equipment and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber / Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and piping systems across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and repair work.
- Perform pipefitting tasks including measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipes according to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation and prevent future issues.
- Utilize rigging techniques to lift and position heavy piping or equipment safely during installation.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to HVAC systems,



plumbing fixtures, or piping networks.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment, scaffolding, or in confined spaces.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or Pipefitter with a valid certification/license.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems, rigging procedures, and general manufacturing processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installations.
- Experience working with schematics related to plumbing or mechanical systems in construction or maintenance environments.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices for construction or industrial settings.
- Previous experience in PVC plumbing is an asset (willing to train)
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- G Class drivers license
- Please note that this job may require working in various locations, including outdoor environments.
