We are seeking an experienced and dependable Journeyperson Gasfitter Class A to join our amazing team at Cool Air Rentals!

In this hands-on role, you will work with a variety of temporary heating, cooling and HVAC equipment across multiple job sites throughout Alberta. You will be responsible for gas fitting, equipment installation, servicing and troubleshooting, while working closely with our operations and field teams to ensure our equipment is installed and operating safely and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for a Gasfitter Class A who enjoys variety, working with different equipment and being out in the field rather than doing the same thing every day.

What You Will Do:

- Install, connect, service and troubleshoot gas-fired heating and HVAC equipment
- Complete gas fitting work in accordance with Alberta codes, regulations and safety standards
- Install and service temporary heating equipment at construction, industrial and commercial job sites
- Perform inspections, testing and troubleshooting of gas lines, connections and equipment
- Diagnose and repair issues with heating and HVAC equipment
- Complete equipment start-ups and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently
- Work with electrical, mechanical and HVAC components as required
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings and specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance and general servicing on rental equipment
- Load, unload, move and set up equipment at job sites as required
- Communicate with customers, contractors and the Cool Air Rentals team professionally
- Complete service reports, work orders and required documentation
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized and secure work environment
- Travel between various Alberta job sites as required

What You Bring to the Table:

- Journeyperson Gasfitter Class A certification in Alberta
- Previous experience working with commercial, industrial or temporary heating equipment
- Strong knowledge of gas fitting,



HVAC systems and related equipment
- Experience with installation, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to travel to multiple job sites throughout Alberta
- Previous experience in the rental, construction or HVAC industry is an asset
