Job Description / Duties

Your primary role will be front desk service which will include duties such as Autopac, customer service, sales, travel insurance, and assisting in our personal and commercial lines departments.

You will be expected to:

- Perform basic insurance transactions and all types of Autopac transactions.

- Develop customer relations and speak to clients in a professional manner.

- Explain different types of procedure and coverages in regard to insurance policies

- Proficiently handle monies and receipts

- Keep an open line of communication with coworkers and managers

- Identify client needs and recommend coverages and risk types

- Be receptive of criticism and a willingness to improve

- Follow our agency policies as described by supervisors

-Work full time with occasional Saturdays

Qualifications / Required Skills

Experience in customer service
Solid personal and communications skills
experience in financial transactions (ex. debit, credit card, cheque, cash payments)
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Clear criminal record check
Completion of The Fundamentals of insurance or CAIB 1 is preferred but not required
Autopac experience and knowledge would be an asset
Proficient typing skills and use of computers




Knowledge of Mills insurance' products and services
