Job Title: Janitor (Oncall)
Pay: $17.85 – $21.85 per hour

Contract: Casual
Hours: OnCall – Irregular hours
Loca/on: Ladysmith, BC

About The Role
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanita0on, and overall appearance of the assigned
Stz’uminus buildings. The role involves performing rou0ne and deep cleaning tasks, handling general
maintenance du0es, and ensuring that the facility is protected,



orderly, and presentable at all 0mes. The Janitor also
monitors the building for repairs, no0fies maintenance needs, and assists with addi0onal du0es such as
security checks, and event clean-up.

Qualifica/ons

- Building Service Worker Cer0ficate or related Janitorial cer0ficate is required
- Minimum of Grade 12 educa0on
- WHMIS cer0ficate
- Ability to follow schedules
- Minimum two years experience as a Janitor or in related field
- Experience using or opera0ng various cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of commercial strength cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ability to Work independently to organize workload
