Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 1 Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year to inspire young learners and foster a love for education. Responsibilities

- Design and implement agile lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to promote active learning in reading, writing, math, and social skills.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques to motivate students and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress regularly through observations, assignments, and assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure comprehensive support for all students.
- Incorporate technology and educational software such as Microsoft Office tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.




- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student development while adhering to organizational policies.

Skills

- Fluent in English; proficiency in French or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to support diverse student populations.
- Strong classroom experience with early childhood education or elementary school settings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching core subjects such as Math, Reading, Writing, and Social Studies.
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and educational software tools.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs; understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to develop creative tutoring strategies tailored to individual student needs; experience in early childhood development is a plus.

Pay: $48,364.46-$118,651.78 per year
