Registered Massage Therapist Part time

We are seeking a motivated, professional and client-focused Registered Massage Therapist to join our clinic in North York.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored massage plans
- Provide safe, effective and professional massage therapy treatment.
- Educate clients on treatment plans, after care, and home care recommendations.
- Ensure all treatments adhere to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices
- Keep detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans for future reference
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or referrals if necessary
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications





- Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist from the appropriate regulatory body
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment procedures and address client concerns
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
- Valid professional liability insurance
