Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver/Rental tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment, to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and efficient delivery operations. The Driver will also operate heavy equipment/Rental gear and perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure equipment readiness, and functionality

Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks to transport equipment
- Load and unload heavy equipment when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery such as Skid steers during loading/unloading processes
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep Rental Equipment in optimal condition
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and clients regarding schedules and issues

Skills

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving,



freight transportation, or related fields
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment
- Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team as well manage time efficiently during deliveries
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to loading/unloading

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50-$50.00 per hour
