Overview

Our client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper/Caregiver to support thier household on a part-time basis. This role has the potential to grow in hours or scope over time as needs evolve. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, warm, and comfortable balancing practical household tasks with providing attentive, respectful support to an elderly parent.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

- General cleaning of living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces).
- Laundry, ironing, and linen changes.
- Dishwashing and kitchen tidying after meals.
- Organizing closets, cabinets, and storage areas as needed.
- Grocery shopping, taking and retrieving clothes from the dry cleaner or other errands, if requested
- Light meal preparation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized home environment

Caregiving Responsibilities

- Companionship and conversation during the day
- Assistance with light mobility support (e.g. walking, getting in/out of chairs) .




- Accompanying to appointments or short outings, if needed.
- Monitoring general wellbeing and alerting family to any concerns.
- Engaging in light activities (reading, puzzles, walks) to support quality of life.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in housekeeping and/or caregiving is required.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required.
- Comfortable with both cleaning tasks and providing companionship care.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle.
- Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check required.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
