About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Specialist to support data and AI initiatives involving advanced analytics, machine learning, data modeling, and intelligent data products.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing ML models, analyzing large datasets, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, train, evaluate, and integrate machine learning models.
- Prepare, clean, normalize, and analyze large datasets.
- Build predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.
- Develop analytical models, reports, and data products.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to business problems.
- Support AI and data analytics application development.
- Work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Identify appropriate ML tools, technologies, and approaches.
- Support responsible AI practices, including model transparency and accountability.
- Document technical and business requirements, processes, and analytical outcomes.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI,



and Advanced Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis.
- Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of data engineering and data modeling concepts.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- K-Means and hierarchical clustering
- Decision/partition trees
- Logistic regression
- Data visualization
- Synthetic data generation
- Data de-identification
- AI model development and integration

- Responsible AI and model governance

Work Details

- Remote within Canada
- Standard working hours aligned with Alberta Time
- Occasional onsite meetings may be required based on project needs.
- Candidates must be able to work from within Canada.
- Contract position with a long-term project prospect.
