We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this rewarding role, you will work alongside children, youth, families, and community partners to support communication development, augmentative communication, feeding, and participation in everyday life.

What You'll Do

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, feeding, and communication assessments using standardized and non-standardized approaches.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and recommendations based on client and family needs.
- Provide intervention services in clinic, home, school, daycare, and community settings.
- Support children with a wide range of developmental and physical disabilities, including those with complex communication needs.
- Collaborate closely with families, educators, healthcare providers, and community agencies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary assessments and treatment planning.
- Prescribe and support augmentative and alternative communication systems in accordance with Assistive Devices Program (ADP) requirements.
- Supervise therapy assistants as required and mentor students and new team members.




- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, program development, and professional education activities.
- Maintain clinical documentation and client records in accordance with professional, organizational, and legislative standards.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Minimum two (2) years of recent experience in a Children's Treatment Centre or comparable pediatric setting.
- Experience assessing and treating children and youth with developmental, physical, and communication disabilities.
- Experience working with children with complex special needs and their families.
- Experience delivering services in community settings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the Healthcare Provider level.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Proven ability to maintain regular attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Continuing education related to pediatric rehabilitation.
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and/or feeding services.
- Bilingualism (English/French).
