Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake authentic sourdough bread using traditional techniques and recipes
- Prepare and bake various types of breads and pastries
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and presentation of baked goods to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety standards
- Support overall kitchen operations, including ingredient measurement, dough mixing, and proofing processes
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and assisting with stock replenishment





Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is required; enthusiasm for baking sourdough is essential
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety practices in the food industry
- Experience in kitchen environments involving food safety, packaging, and general food industry standards is advantageous
- A passion for baking, especially sourdough bread, combined with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have regular availability for early morning shifts starting at 5:00am.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
