Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled to join our construction team, bringing expertise in various aspects of building and restoration projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing construction tasks with precision, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and maintaining safety standards. Your hands-on experience and technical knowledge will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, from framing and siding to concrete finishing and heavy equipment operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that demand both skill and enthusiasm.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Closing decks, erecting scaffolds, putting up re-shore to close formwork and prepare for concrete

· Measuring space required to be closed

· Cutting plywood and lumber to required size using a skill saw and securing lumber/plywood using a hammer/nails

· Assisting crane in placing wall form to desired location

· Closing wall forms and ensuring they are straight

· Placing U-head brackets atop of frames,



lying joists and nailing plywood sheets to joist atop

· Additional duties as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the related position preferred

· Frequent walking, standing, bending, grasping and crouching required

· Occasional climbing, twisting and head movement required

· Strong knowledge of the construction industry an asset

EDUCATION

· Post-secondary and or relevant working experience/knowledge

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
