Direct Environmental Drilling Inc. is currently seeking experienced Environmental & Geotechnical Drillers to join its team. DED Inc. is looking for drillers with minimum 2 years experience operating Direct Push or Conventional Rotary Rigs. They will have a valid DZ license in positive standing and a Class 1 or 3 Well Technician License. Must be willing to work out-of-town and work in all of Ontario's climates. They must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Driller will be responsible for:
- conducting Daily Pre-Task Health and Safety Meetings
- conducting Daily Truck and Equipment Checklist
- loading equipment, tooling and material for drilling projects
- transporting equipment and tooling to drilling location and following all rules and regulations outlined by the MTO
- conducting environmental and geotechnical drilling programs (i.e. soil sampling, monitoring well installation, monitoring well decommissions, monitoring well repairs, etc.)
- cleaning and maintaining equipment and tooling
- assisting with maintenance and repairing of drilling equipment
- completing all work related documents and submitting in a timely fashion
Qualifications and Skills
Qualified individuals must have:
- 2 years drilling experience (Direct Push or Conventional Rotary Rig)
- valid DZ class license in good standing
- Class 1 or 3 Well Technician License
