Aegis Mobile Power Washing Ltd. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Boom Lift Operator to join our team for a specialized passenger rail car cleaning contract.

This position involves operating a 45-foot articulated boom lift (MEWP) while a crew member performs exterior cleaning work on the upper level of passenger rail cars. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe equipment operation, maintaining awareness of worksite hazards, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed throughout the shift.

Position Details

Position: Boom Lift Operator (MEWP Operator)
Schedule: Sunday through Friday, approximately 10:00 PM – 5:00 AM (some scheduling flexibility may be available)
Start Date: Immediate / Quick Start Available
Contract Duration: Through approximately mid-October 2026
Compensation: Starting at $23.00/hour, with regular wage increases and retention bonuses available

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 45-foot articulated boom lift (MEWP)
- Position and maneuver the lift to allow crew members to safely clean passenger rail cars
- Conduct pre-use equipment inspections and complete required documentation
- Monitor worksite conditions and maintain situational awareness at all times
- Follow all company safety procedures, rail yard requirements, and protected work practices
- Communicate effectively with team members while work is being performed at height
- Ensure proper use of fall protection systems and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with basic site setup and shutdown as required

QualificationsRequired

- Experience operating Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs)
- Valid Fall Protection Certification
- Valid Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)



Certification
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Assets

- Experience operating articulated boom lifts
- Experience working in industrial, construction, transportation, or rail environments

Certification Note:
Applicants with expired Fall Protection or MEWP certifications are encouraged to apply. Recertification assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

PPE Requirements

Employees must provide:

- CSA-approved steel-toed work boots w/ minimum 6in ankle support
