Overview
ClearSafe Abatement is seeking an experienced High‑Risk Technician with strong background in project management, site coordination, and job estimating. This role supports high‑risk field operations including asbestos/lead abatement, hazardous materials handling, and complex project logistics. We are a fast‑growing Edmonton‑based company looking for someone reliable, detail‑driven, and confident working in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate high‑risk field operations (asbestos, lead, mold, confined space, hazardous materials).
- Conduct site assessments, risk evaluations, and scope-of-work development.
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and project budgets.
- Manage project timelines, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure safety protocols and provincial standards are followed at all times.
- Oversee sampling, reporting, and job close‑out documentation.

Required Experience & Certifications

- Minimum 3–5 years experience in high‑risk or hazardous materials environments.




- Strong project management experience (field or office).
- Proven estimating experience (construction, abatement, remediation, or similar).
- Valid Alberta safety certifications (e.g., Asbestos Worker, Lead Abatement, WHMIS, First Aid).
- Ability to read drawings, scopes, and technical reports.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Assets

- Supervisor-level certifications.
- Experience with municipal or provincial compliance processes.
- Knowledge of site logistics (asset but not required).
