Role Overview

We are looking for an encouraging and adaptable Educator / Learning Coach to empower students from K–12 through individualized instruction. In this role, you will help students build academic mastery, develop solid study habits, and gain confidence in their coursework.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct targeted 1-on-1 or small-group instructional sessions tailored to each learner's pace and goals.
- Design personalized learning activities and adapt instructional techniques to match various learning styles.
- Track student growth over time and tweak lesson approaches based on ongoing progress.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding academic milestones and areas needing focus.
- Help learners develop practical study routines, test-taking strategies, and organizational skills.
- Keep accurate logs of session attendance, topics covered, and student outcomes.

Requirements & Skills

- Current enrollment in or completion of a post-secondary degree program.
- Direct experience instructing, tutoring, or mentoring elementary, middle, or high school youth.
- Deep understanding of the subject matter you intend to teach.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the patience to simplify complex topics.
- Proven capacity to inspire, encourage, and engage learners of varying abilities.
- Punctual, structured, and genuinely passionate about student achievement.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- tutoring / teaching: 1 year (preferred)
