Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Grocery Manager to lead our retail grocery operations with enthusiasm and strategic insight. Duties

- Lead and supervise all aspects of store operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service excellence
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales potential
- Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Manage payroll, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency
- Train and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing education programs
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales processing, cash handling, and sales reporting
- Conduct regular store inspections to uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and store presentation




- Lead marketing initiatives within the store to attract new customers and promote ongoing promotions
- Recruit qualified staff through effective interviewing techniques and manage team schedules for optimal coverage

Experience

- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or grocery store management
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, merchandising, pricing, and sales management
- Strong background in team management with experience in training & development
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus)
- Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, administrative tasks, and organizational skills
- Prior recruiting experience including interviewing candidates for retail positions
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail environments
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment

Pay: $38,359.38-$69,704.97 per year
