We’re seeking a confident and creative bartender to lead our bar. Our current head bartender is moving across the country and we are looking for someone to carry on our high standard for creating delicious drinks.

Starts at $19/hour + Tip pool
Part-Time 20-30 hours/weekly

Job Summary
We are a snack bar that specializes in cocktails. Our style is classy but not fussy, our service is attentive but relaxed. Our head bartender is responsible for:

The ideal candidate is

The Head Bartender will work alongside our wonderful, and very capable, Bar Manager & Chef.

Duties
- create a feature cocktail every 3 weeks
- create an 8 item cocktail menu twice a year
- meet bi-weekly with management team
- count inventory
- prep cocktail ingredients
- cost cocktails for the menu
- work service 3 nights a week
- purchase product from the LCBO & Beer store
- communicate recipes to bar team & floor staff.
- relay relevant information in our work Slack
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- work floor as needed

Qualifications

- 2 years restaurant experience




- Previous leadership or supervisory experience as a Head Bartender, Bartender or similar
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs gracefully
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and food industry best practices
- Ability to serve efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Robust communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a positive team environment
- Evening & weekend availability (Friday & Saturday are a MUST)
