STRIVE Support Services is seeking compassionate, welcoming individuals, couples, and families to become Home Share Providers for adults with diverse abilities.

As a Home Share Provider, you will welcome an individual into your home and provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes independence, belonging, personal growth, and meaningful community participation. What You'll Do

As a Home Share Provider, you will:

- Provide a safe, stable, and welcoming home workplace
- Support an individual in achieving their personal goals and dreams
- Encourage independence and self-determination
- Foster community connections, friendships, and social inclusion
- Assist with daily living activities as required
- Support medical, personal care, and transportation needs when applicable
- Collaborate with STRIVE Support Services, families, and community partners
- Celebrate strengths, abilities, and unique gifts

- Have experience supporting adults with diverse abilities (preferred)

Minimum Requirements

In accordance with Community Living BC guidelines, Home Share Providers must have:

- Minimum 19 years of age
- Previous experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities/community living needs (preferred)
- A satisfactory Home Study assessment
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid BC Driver's Licence
- A safe and suitable home environment
- Commitment to inclusion and quality of life for the person supported
