Overview

Okanagan Aggregates is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for monitoring product standards, implementing quality control measures and identifying production inefficiencies. You will act as a key liaison between project teams to ensure our work consistently meet both customer expectations and project specifications.

The position is primarily field-based at project sites throughout British Columbia. The role requires extended hours during the construction season, typically 10-12 hours per day, 6 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

· Procedure Development: Understand and implement quality control procedures and standards on Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MOTT) projects.

· Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of materials, products and procedures to ensure compliance with approved quality control plans.

· Production summary: Track and summarize daily production quantities.

· Daily Job Costing: Organize and summarize daily time cards versus production targets and ensure timely submission.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Education: Degree or diploma in Civil Tech Engineering, Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field.





· Experience: Minimum one year experience working on Ministry of Transportation and Transit projects, Municipal or other related construction projects.

· Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, with solid working knowledge of Excel.

· Soft Skills: Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced ever-changing environment with strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
