Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in various carpentry tasks and construction practices. This role involves working on residential new construction projects in a small development. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for performing tasks with attention to detail and adhering to safety standards. This is a part time position, but could be full time for the right candidate.
Duties
- Perform forming, back framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, floor installation and clean up.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret constructions drawings an asset.
- Engage in concrete forming, backfill and earthworks, and landscaping as required.
- Assist with rebar installation and heavy lifting during construction activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in residential construction performing duties related to carpentry.
- Able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety protocols on the job site.
- Able to work independently and/or unsupervised for periods of time.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices from start to finish considered an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
