AirCon Technologies of Fort McMurray Ltd. specializes in the installation, repair and maintenance of Air Conditioning, Fire Suppression, Heating and Air Filtration systems for mine mobile heavy equipment. These systems provide safety, comfort and improved air quality for the operators, improved operation of the equipment and a critical role in the protection against fire. AirCon’s goal is “to be the contractor of choice for Air Conditioning, Heating and Fire Suppression services in the Fort McMurray area”. Our corporate motto is “Service with Integrity”.
Position Responsibilities:
-To perform repairs & maintenance on the Air Conditioning and Fire Suppression systems on mine mobile heavy equipment.
Job Functions:
-To work safely as a team to minimize equipment downtime.
-Diagnose & make necessary repairs.
-Strong organizational skills
Education, Experience & Training:
-Experience in mine mobile heavy equipment Air Conditioning Systems is an asset.
-Journeyman Certificate for:
Automotive Service Technician or Transport Refrigeration Technician
Qualifications:
-Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions as required.
-Highly motivated.
-Ability to work as part of a team.
-Ability to work with little supervision
-Willing to work overtime when required.
Must have valid drivers license and be able to provide a 5 year current driver’s abstract.
This is at our Fort Hills location. This is a fly in fly out camp position. 7 day rotation. Flights are based out of the hub cities Edmonton and Calgary.
