Role Summary

The Administrator / Manager plays a key hybrid role in ensuring the success of OMAC Martial Arts. This position combines operational management, customer service, staff leadership, and instructional support. The role is responsible for driving the financial health of the school, overseeing daily operations, fostering strong relationships with families, managing staff and volunteers, and assisting in the delivery of Taekwondo instruction.

This individual is the bridge between students, families, staff, and the Director—ensuring that the school functions smoothly, remains financially robust, and provides exceptional experiences both on and off the mats. Taekwondo experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Management

● Sustain and drive the financial health of the school.

● Develop quarterly revenue strategies.

● Prepare and adjust plans after challenging seasons.

● Track and analyze revenue goals, optimizing for year-over-year growth.

● Manage sales and registrations for memberships, special events, programs, camps, and merchandise.

● Process and reconcile payments for memberships, After School Program, camps, birthday parties, and supplies.

● Collaborate with the Director to set financial goals and review progress.

Customer Relations & Memberships

● Provide exceptional customer service to all families and students.

● Build strong, long-lasting relationships with students and parents.

● Handle sensitive or confidential situations with professionalism and care, including conflict resolution.

● Manage membership contracts, renewals, negotiations, and pricing.

● Conduct new member sign-ups, renewals, and event registrations.

● Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email,



and in-person.

● Maintain accurate membership data in tracking software (e.g., PerfectMind).

● Ensure all families feel supported, valued, and connected to the OMAC community.

School Operations & Facility Management

● Oversee daily school operations to ensure smooth functioning.

● Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and safety.

● Track and manage inventory of uniforms, equipment, office supplies, and merchandise.

● Place orders for supplies and merchandise as needed.

● Investigate and resolve operational issues promptly.

● Coordinate After School Program pickups, driver routes, and scheduling.

● Organize and oversee special events, camps, birthday parties, and community outreach initiatives.

● Lead regular staff meetings to share updates, address challenges, and implement changes.

● Report weekly operational updates and progress to the Director.

Staff & Volunteer Management

● Manage a team of employees and volunteers.

● Schedule staff for classes, events, and special programs.

● Track employee hours and prepare payroll submissions.

● Delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficiency and accountability.

● Uphold and enforce school policies with staff in a fair, professional manner.

● Handle staff concerns, complaints, and conflicts with respect and focus on solutions.

● Recruit, onboard, and train new employees and volunteers.

● Provide coaching, leadership strategies, and recognition to staff and volunteers.

● Train employees on school curriculum, teaching methods, policies, and role-specific duties.

● Collaborate with the Director monthly on staff development and long-term planning.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
