Job Title: Physiotherapist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a physiotherapist, your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote pain relief, improved mobility, and enhanced physical functionality.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including evaluating their range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall physical abilities.

Analyze and interpret medical histories, test results, and other relevant information to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Design and implement individualized treatment programs that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote physical rehabilitation.

Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance long-term well-being.

Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Stay informed about the latest advancements and research in physiotherapy to incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.

Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by regulatory bodies and uphold the highest quality of care.





Participate in professional development activities, such as workshops, conferences, and continuing education programs, to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

Valid license or certification as a physiotherapist in Ontario, obtained through our college of PT of Ontario.

Proven experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various physical conditions, injuries, or disabilities.

In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal system.

Proficiency in using a wide range of therapeutic techniques and equipment.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex medical information to patients and their families.

Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop effective treatment plans.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and record-keeping.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
