We are seeking a Architectural Technologist/Draftsperson with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. We require someone with strong drafting skills and building construction knowledge to produce working drawings for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Additional qualification requirements are listed below.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of architectural experience with demonstrated relevant project experience
- Advanced working knowledge of building construction and the Ontario Building Code
- Ability to produce a complete set of construction drawings independently
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary consultant team
- Excellent communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work on a design/production team to produce fully coordinated architectural working drawings
- Review and approve project shop drawings
- Communicate with construction team to provide information and solve problems
