Experienced Shampoo Assistant/Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hairstylist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the beauty industry, possess excellent communication skills, and be a team player. The Hairstylist Assistant will work under the supervision of the senior hairstylist and will be responsible for various duties such as shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying, styling, and assisting the senior stylist with other tasks as needed

Responsibilities:

- Shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying clients' hair
- Preparing clients for hairstyling by applying products and assisting with the styling process
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Providing excellent customer service to all clients
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling
- Assist stylist with client shampoos and blow-dry in a timely manner
- Prepare salon ahead of schedule for daily clients
- Serve beverages to customers during their service
- On a continual basis, replenish towels, sweep stations, and restock shelves

Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a salon or beauty industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be reliable,



punctual, and professional
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends ( No Sundays )
- Great customer service skills required
- Smart serve required

Experience:

- Shampooing: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule:

- Monday or Tuesday: 9 am to 5 pm
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday: 10 am to 6:30 pm
- Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
