Position Overview

Alliston Medical Clinic is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, and patient-focused Chiropractor to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

In addition to providing high-quality chiropractic assessments and treatments, the successful candidate must have experience with custom foot orthotics, medical-grade compression stockings, and orthopedic braces. We are looking for a professional who can confidently assess patients, recommend appropriate products, take accurate measurements, and complete all required clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive chiropractic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and other appropriate treatments.
- Assess patients for custom-made foot orthotics.
- Perform casting, foam impressions, or digital scanning for custom orthotics.
- Fit and dispense custom orthotics and provide appropriate patient education and follow-up care.
- Assess patients for medical-grade compression stockings.
- Take accurate measurements and recommend the appropriate compression level, size, and style.
- Assess, measure, fit, and dispense orthopedic braces, including knee, ankle, back, wrist, and other supportive devices.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical notes and product-related documentation.
- Prepare prescriptions, assessment reports, and supporting documentation when appropriate and within the chiropractor’s professional scope of practice.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, product use, follow-up care, and insurance requirements.




- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff to provide coordinated patient care.
- Follow all professional, ethical, privacy, infection-control, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from a recognized institution.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Experience assessing, casting, fitting, and dispensing custom foot orthotics.
- Experience measuring and fitting medical-grade compression stockings.
- Experience assessing and fitting orthopedic braces.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, biomechanics, posture, gait, and rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with extended health insurance documentation and clinical reporting is an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
