Job Overview

Dentistry on Lawrence is a family-friendly, patient-centered, moderndental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We are seeking a motivated, people-focused, and operations-driven Practice Leader to join our team. This leadership role is integral in supporting both the clinical and administrative teams while ensuring smooth daily operations, high-quality service delivery, and a positive practice culture.

The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, solid communication skills, and a passion for supporting teams in delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and a consistently positive patient experience.
- Lead, coach, and mentor administrative and clinical support team members to foster engagement, development, and retention.
- Partner with dentists and clinical leaders to align operations with high-quality patient care and clinical priorities.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs); identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll administration, accounts receivable, and inventory management.
- Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
- Facilitate effective communication across the practice and promote a culture of teamwork, accountability,



and continuous improvement.
- Handle patient concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate operational records and contribute to strategic planning and practice growth initiatives.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Business, Office Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience (dental or healthcare setting preferred).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and managing disciplinary actions or terminations with professionalism and discretion.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, scheduling, performance metrics, and operational processes.
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Tracker, Abeldent, Paradigm, Cleardent, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Solid problem-solving and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Commitment to compliance, patient safety, and fostering a positive practice culture.
- Flexibility to work varied hours based on practice needs.

Compensation

- Pay Range: $40.00–$45.00 per hour
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills, with eligibility for performance based incentive opportunities.
