Order Picker – Warehouse

Springhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Order Picker to join our Finishing Warehouse team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required.

The ideal candidate will have previous order-picking or warehouse experience in the lumber or building materials industry. They will be responsible for accurately picking, verifying, and preparing customer orders while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

The successful candidate will receive full company paid employee benefits after 90 days.

Rate of Pay: Depending on Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared according to sales orders in a timely manner.
- Receive, stock and organize finishing products, lumber and building materials in a secure and efficient manner.
- Complete paperwork accurately and record product changes as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse and yard as directed.
- Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service.
- Other duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
- Obtain and maintain a current driver’s abstract (issued within the last 3 months).
- Experience and knowledge in the lumber, building materials, or a related industry is an asset.
- Ability to perform physical labour including lifting,



carrying (over 50 lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required. In-house training provided.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Dependable, punctual, friendly, and organized, with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
- Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.

Working Conditions:

- Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around.
- Safety boots and safety equipment are required.
- Fast paced, high-volume environment.
