Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver freight to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of freight.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and heavy equipment to maintain safety standards.
- Verify delivery orders, document delivery details, and obtain customer signatures upon receipt.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate routes and address any delivery issues promptly.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor vehicle issues when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols,



including proper use of heavy equipment operation procedures, to ensure safe working conditions.

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- Robust attention to detail for verifying shipments and completing documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
- Physical stamina for lifting, loading, unloading, and long hours on the road.
