Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Previous Dental experience required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess expertise in various dental procedures. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic dental practice environment.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical records systems
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM technology
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dental assisting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
