Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. Experience with dental software such as Abeldent, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and surgery, will be highly valued. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Abeldent
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety standards
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team in a fast-paced workplace
- Certification in dental assisting is required
