Petroteck Resources Ltd. is a specialized manpower provider serving Western Canada’s oilfield and industrial sectors. We operate as a lean, efficient team without the overhead of a traditional storefront, allowing us to focus our resources on our people and our clients.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who thrives in a fully remote and field-based environment. You won’t be reporting to an office every morning; instead, you will be managing your own territory, meeting clients at their offices or project sites, and driving growth from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

- Prospecting: Identify and outreach to new clients in oilfield, civil construction, and remediation.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the face of Petroteck, building trust with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Procurement.
- Account Growth: Get Petroteck onto approved vendor lists and secure recurring staffing contracts.
- Pipeline Tracking: Manage your leads and follow-ups using digital tools to ensure no chance is missed.
- Field Presence: Travel throughout Central and Northern Alberta to visit client sites and offices as needed.

Qualifications

- Must be a Self-Starter: Since this is a remote role,



you must be highly organized and disciplined with your time.
- Industry Experience: 8+ years in sales or BD within the Alberta industrial/oilfield market.
- Network: A pre-existing network of contacts in the industry is a significant advantage.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate via phone, email, and in-person professional meetings.
- Licence: Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are required.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
