- Reports to: Laboratory Supervisor.
- Works independently.
Role Specific Scope
- Full proficiency in advanced embryology procedures.
- Conducts equipment calibration and validation activities.
- Initiates and validates current laboratory methodologies when requested.
- Provides structured training to embryologists and trainees.
- Serves as senior technical resource during complex cases.
- Participates in troubleshooting laboratory system failures.
- Provides senior technical oversight during critical laboratory situations.
- Acts as primary trainer and mentor for junior and intermediate embryologists.
- Serves as technical authority during audits and inspections (as delegated).
Experience Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- CFAS certification as embryologist.
- Significant experience as an Embryologist.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and exemplary performance record.
