About Village Physiotherapy

Village Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation and wellness clinic located in the heart of Mississauga.

Our clinic provides physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, chiropody and other rehabilitation and wellness services. We treat a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from musculoskeletal and sports injuries, workplace injuries (WSIB), motor vehicle accidents (MVA), chronic pain and mobility-related conditions.

We are currently expanding our clinical team and are looking for a motivated and patient-focused Registered Physiotherapist who is interested in growing their practice within a supportive multidisciplinary workplace.

The Opportunity

As a Physiotherapist at Village Physiotherapy, you will independently assess and treat patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

We are looking for someone who values quality patient care, communication and evidence-informed treatment and who wants to develop long-term relationships with patients and the local community.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Provide evidence-informed physiotherapy treatments
- Prescribe therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required
- Educate patients regarding injury prevention, mobility and recovery
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Manage patients with musculoskeletal,



sports and repetitive-strain injuries
- Treat patients involved in workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents where applicable
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, insurers and other healthcare providers when required
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary clinical team
- Maintain professional standards and patient confidentiality

Qualifications

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient-focused and professional approach to care
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining accurate clinical documentation

New graduates who are registered and eligible to practise in Ontario are welcome to apply.

Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:

- Manual therapy
- Sports rehabilitation
- MVA rehabilitation
- WSIB rehabilitation
- Pelvic health
- Acupuncture or dry needling
- Exercise-based rehabilitation
- Chronic pain management

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience and employment arrangement.

Compensation structure can be discussed with successful candidates and may include an hourly, salaried or percentage-based arrangement depending on experience, availability and preferred schedule.

Schedule

We are open to full-time or part-time candidates.

Weekday availability is preferred, and Saturday availability would be an asset.
