About Sakeenah Sitters

Sakeenah Sitters is building a trusted network of reliable, caring babysitters who families can feel comfortable welcoming into their homes.

We are looking for responsible and compassionate individuals who genuinely enjoy working with children and want versatile babysitting opportunities with local families.

What You'll Do

As a Sakeenah Sitter, you may:

- Provide safe, attentive and engaging care for children
- Follow parents' instructions and household routines
- Prepare simple snacks or meals when requested
- Help with age-appropriate activities, reading, play and homework
- Maintain a safe and positive environment
- Communicate professionally with parents
- Arrive on time and be dependable for scheduled assignments

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for babysitters who are:

- Responsible, dependable and trustworthy
- Patient, caring and comfortable working with children
- Good communicators
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable following family instructions and routines
- Available for occasional or recurring babysitting assignments
- Located in or able to serve families in the GTA

Previous babysitting, childcare, camp, tutoring, teaching or other child-related experience is an asset.

First Aid/CPR certification is an asset but not required for every position.

Our Selection Process





Because families trust us to connect them with dependable caregivers, Sakeenah Sitters follows a screening process before sitters are matched with families.

Selected applicants may be asked to participate in an interview and provide references and required screening documentation.

Successful applicants will be added to our sitter network and considered for babysitting opportunities that match their experience, availability and location.
